Taylor and Tony have been staying in the Bay Area since July, with Chris and Bradley visiting regularly. […]
On October 24, Olivia presented her literature seminar discussing the current literature surrounding factors that impact the conductivity in linked gold nanoparticle films. We are proud of the hard work that Olivia put into this presentation!
Bradley successfully defended his dissertation today and earned his PhD in Analytical Chemistry! We are so happy to see all of Bradley’s success and are eager to see where the future takes him. Bradley will continue his research in the Ackerson lab, focusing on cryo-electron microscopy of Cloneable Nanoparticles as a Postdoctoral Scientist while working […]
Collin successfully defended his dissertation yesterday and earned his PhD in Materials Chemistry! We are very proud of all of Collin’s hard work throughout his time in the Ackerson lab.
Last week, Bradley gave a great talk titled “Cryo-EM of a Cloneable Selenium Nanoparticle” where he discussed his current work on resolving a structure of our lab’s metalloid reductase enzyme (GRLMR) using single-particle Cryo-EM. This webinar was a part of the CryoEM Current Practices Webinar series that is hosted monthly by major Cryo-EM centers across […]
On September 11th, Taylor gave an analytical literature seminar discussing the current literature surrounding contrast tools for intracellular imaging. We are proud of her hard work in putting together a great presentation!
